| Your Personal Biography |
Marie C. Kirkwood Studied oil painting, pastel, and watercolor techniques at the Darlington Fine Arts Center under Karl J. Kuerner, a leading Brandywine Artist. Also studied acrylic techniques with Terri Isaacs, wildlife artist, oil painting with Paul Abrams, Hudson River School artist, and recently attended a watercolor workshop with Cheng Khee Chee, popular children’s book illustrator. Animals are among her favorite subjects to portray in their natural habitat on canvas; she does this realistically and, sometimes, comically. She also enjoys painting portraits and landscape scenes. Marie enriches her life by teaching Art to adults with special needs. |
