Artist Statement:
I am a 62 year old Self-taught
artist. I became hooked on
art the moment I picked up my
first crayon. My art has been
a source of great joy to me
and a true labor of love.
I did not begin selling my
work until about 4 years ago.
My Husband liked my work and
thought we should be selling
it. (we were running out of
storage room for canvases.)
At any rate, he got my work in
two local galleries.
Our local newspaper has done
two articles about my work,
and I have appeared on a local
T.V. show with my work.
I would like to think that my
work brings joy to others as
well.
