| Your Personal Biography |
Kristin Haas has shown her work extensively and has won many awards including the prestigious Joan Mitchell Foundation 2010 MFA Grant, which is currently funding her creative research. She also won the 2006 Illinois Board of Higher Education’s Purchase Prize for her painting Cityscape, which was purchased by the State of Illinois and now hangs in the Capitol Building in Springfield, Illinois. She has consistently been involved as the arts not only as an artist but as a co-juror, instructor of record, guest lecturer, workshop leader, panelist, and has sat on numerous art committees.
