Artist Statement:
It`s all about rhythm and
light. This fascinates us as
well in photography as in our
sculptural work.
We try to capture the rhythms
of life, the complex
structures of light and
darkness, movement and
inaction, lightness and
weight.
Both of us have studied fine
arts: Bettina studied
sculpture, painting and
photography at the Duesseldorf
Art Academy and Ulrich studied
photography and science of art
at the University of Bremen,
Germany.
A while ago we started working
together and found that we
influenced each other very
strongly in our way of seeing
and interpretating things, so
we decided to use the same
copyright for all our works.
