Artist Statement:
Krys Pettit is a Florida
watercolor artist. Her work
covers the gamut from still
life to figurative but her
passion is her studies of
nature and architectural
detail.
Krys has always expressed
herself in some form of
drawing and painting since
childhood. Coming from a long
line of amateur and
professional artists has also
influenced her to choose her
present path of expression.
She works with watercolor as a
medium because of its vibrant
transparency and life-like
quality when it reacts with
paper and water. In addition
to being in various private
collections throughout the
country and world, her work
has been chosen for exhibit in
juried national and state
competitions.
