Artist Statement:
I am fortunate enough to have a job that I enjoy and at the same time I can practice my favourite hobby – photography. For years people have been asking me why I don’t set up a web site and publish some shots of interesting animal behaviour or just shots that I get when I am on my safaris. Guiding photographic and walking safaris in some of the most remote, unspoilt areas of wilderness left today gives me the ideal opportunity to see interesting and rare interaction between various species of animals and birds, this in turn gives me the chance to capture it on camera.
With many of my guests being avid photographers the days usually start before sun up making sure we are out in the bush for first light and taking full advantage of those critical first few hours of light. Generally we make it back to camp for the mid day break when the temperatures and the light are not conducive to being out in the bush and then head out again early afternoon to catch the afternoon light and hopefully some obliging subjects to photograph!
Being based in Northern Botswana for most of the year ...

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Lately I developed an interest for “Abstracted Wildlife Pictures”
My pictures do not conform to established figurative rules, yet one can still depict the visible world of objects and nature, thus describing the pictures as abstracted wildlife.

| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in Zimbabwe and grew up in remote areas of the lowveld alongside the Gonarézhou National Park. My childhood therefore was spent in the bush and from an early age I had a keen interest in all things natural.

Guiding photographic and walking safaris in some of the most remote, unspoilt areas of wilderness left today gives me the ideal opportunity to see interesting and rare interaction between various species of animals and birds; this in turn gives me the chance to capture it on camera.
