Leo Kogan's Artist Portfolio
Welcome to Leo Kogan's Portfolio.
Leo Kogan was born in the former USSR in 1974. In 1990 he moved to the United States where he lived in New York and in Los Angeles. Kogan studied art at the Cooper Union in New York City between 1994 and 1997. Afterwards he was offered a grant to continue his study at De Ateliers in the Netherlands. Since then Leo Kogan is living and working in Amsterdam.
Having finished education, Kogan started participating in shows in the Benelux. He's had solo shows at Sabine Wachters Gallery in Brussels and at Buro Empty in Amsterdam. His works have been shown at art fairs and in group shows in Berlin, Zurich, Amsterdam, Brussels, Turin, Stockholm, and Graz. Up until recently his work consisted mostly of paintings and drawings. In last few years Kogan has expanded his media to audio, photography, music, writing, interactive, installation and video.
