Artist Statement:
I am a landscape painter and
printmaker, exploring the
fleeting changes in the
weather - winds, rains,
sunshine on mountains, coasts
and dales. My Scottish roots
inform much of my work as well
as my present life in the
Yorkshire Dales, England.
However, travels to Italy,
Spain and the Far East feature
too.
I aim for spontaneity in
my work and veer towards the
abstract form. I want to give
an impression of the feeling
of a place rather than a
