Artist Statement:
Through self-reflection,
intuition, and much research I
have come to incorporate
Metaphysics, Alchemy,
Eastern/African and Tribal
Cultures, Contemporary
Psychology, and Kabbalah into
my paintings in order to
derive specific imagery such
as exotic moth wing patterns,
archetypes & archaic
symbol(evil eye, mandala,
triangle etc.), color and
camouflage in order to draw
from my own subconscious and
importantly the viewer’s as

conscious, subconscious, and
external world and the
intangible energy that it

Using color as symbol to
influence overall tone and
mood, camouflage to slow the
viewing process, or shape,
pattern and symbolism taken
loosely or directly from
specific sources themselves,
one automatically creates a
“space” between mind and
matter. This effect is exactly
what is meant to be ...
