Artist Statement:
I paint images to escape the harsh realities of Life. I want my paintings to take you away to a far away place where your worries melt away. I love painting the world through "rose colored glasses".
It's important to me that everyone can enjoy my art, young, old, people experienced in viewing art and people who might not be at all. I want them to instantly "get it" and understand what they're looking at. I want it to be an enjoyable experience....

| Your Personal Biography |
Liz grew up on the eastern coast of Massachusetts. She loves the New England coastline and any small coastal towns around the world. Ever since reading a famous quote of Georgia O'Keefe, 'paint what you know', Liz has done just that. By carrying her digital camera everywhere she goes, she is constantly taking photos of her inspirations. By painting from her own photographs she feels that the end result is truly her own vision. She mainly paints in Acrylic paint, however is capable of using many other mediums.
Liz Boston is a 2000 graduate of The Museum School of Fine Art in Boston, MA. She currently resides on the coast with her Husband Scott in Weymouth MA. She paints out of her studio at her home. |
