| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Because I enjoy the process and get great satisfaction when the end result comes somewhere near to the original expectations that I had when I started work on the piece. I also do it to please others and to sell. It never ceases to amaze me that not only has my work attracted admiration, but that people have spent not insignificant sums of money on purchasing some of them. I find this very flattering and it is also accompanied by a sense of responsibility that I have to go on improving to justify the investment that people have made in my work. |
