| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in 1967 and brought up in remote rural areas of the Highlands of Scotland. I studied at Gray’s School of Art graduating with a BA hons degree in 1990. Now based on a picturesque croft in Gairloch which has fantastic views over the Gairloch bay, the Torridon mountains and the Isle of Skye, I have my home workshop/studio, from where I operate a successful framing business. I work mainly in watercolour and pen & ink - taking my inspiration from my past and present surroundings – the land, sea, air, colours, light and folklore.
