| Your Personal Biography |
Maria Zdenka Madacky was born in former Yugoslavia where she earned a Bachelor of Art in Slovak Language and Literature at the University of Novi Sad. In 2004 she completed the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Lethbridge in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada, and presently she is a Master of Fine Arts candidate in Drawing / Intermedia at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The complexity of her cultural background and the interdisciplinary stance towards the act of artistic creation has heightened her interest in exploring the vast spaces of ‘inbetweenness’ and interconnectedness.
