Artist Statement
I have enjoyed painting since
I opened my eyes wide to this
fantastic world. When I was 5
years old I had an unusual
feeling of being close to god,
Space, and the Universe. That
mystic sense has been the
primary inspiration that has
allowed my imagination to
transfer my feelings from the
sub consciousness to the
consciousness of a paper
.usually, nice music drives me
up and I lose my sense of the
reality .I like graphic
art,oiland acrylic painting..
I love colour and it is my
primary tool of expression as
I use it to heighten the
emotion of the natural world.
Also unusual combinations of
symbols, figures, and lines
are the major characteristics
that all my art works have
incommon. I use colour in
abstract, pieces to show
balance, transformation and
interaction of Artist’s

| Your Personal Biography |
Mehriban Efendiyeva was born in Baku, Azerbaijan.After graduating from State Art School of Azim Azim- zade,she studied in Moscow animation school of Soyuz multfilm.After working in many animation films, she started to work on feature films as a costume designer and an art director .She has worked on 12th feature films, many short films and documentaries. Amongst them a film made by film director of Huseyn Mehdiyev ,’Strange time” in 1996 won awards of the best film director and the best junior actress in The Madrid Film Festival, Spain.
Her last work was as the costume designer of German production film of 'Absurdistan' made by Veit Helmer.
She has been nominated for German Film Prize of 2008

Also as an artist she has had many international and national exhibitions of her art works and fashion shows.
She works in the film studio of “AzerbaijanFilm “as the leading specialist.
