| Your Personal Biography |
Margarita Ivashkova was born in the small town of Sochi Russia at the edge of the Black Sea in January of 1982. At the age of 5 years old she started painting and her love of art began. Margarita moved to New York to study at La Guardia College for a Liberal Arts degree at the age of 16. She then moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico when she was 18 to continue her studies. At the age of 20 Margarita decided she needed a change and switched to a degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management, but after four years her artistic side reemerge and she returned to school to acquire a Fine Arts degree.
Margarita’s work has been shown at the Guidance Center at Rodeo Park West here in Santa Fe, New Mexico since.
