I prefer to paint with
watercolors and acrylic, but I
also paint with pastel oil,
oil and mixed media. I like
colour, nature and human
figure. My paintings are
normally neofigurative ....

MARIA REIS
I was born in Lisbon in 1949.
Attended courses:
ï¶ Statue Drawing at Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes
ï¶ Sculpture and Communication Design at Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa
ï¶ Painting and Drawing at Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual
My work:
I am represented in private collections in Portugal, Spain, Holland, Belgium,
South Africa, Brazil, France, U.S.A. and Germany.
Since 1990, I took part in numberless (over 60) individual and collective exhibitions of my paintings in Portugal.
