| Your Personal Biography |
Marissa Gribbin lives in NY, and is a self-taught artist specializing in abstract paintings, contemporary landscape paintings, and photography. Her inspiration comes from everyday life, whether it’s simply walking down a hectic street in New York City, or seeing a patch of greenery in suburbia. What started many years ago as simply a passion for collecting artwork, turned into a desire to create the art herself. Many classic artists have inspired her such as Rothko’s neat horizontal lines, to Monet’s impressionistic style.
Photography came as a second love, while visiting Paris and Versailles and being struck by the architecture and scenery, which in turn trickled into wanting to capture real-time moments at all times. |
