MARK WAS BORN IN NORTHAMPTON, ENGLAND IN 1976.HE GRADUATED WITH A FINE ART DEGREE IN 1999 FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTHAMPTON.HIS LARGE SCALE PAINTINGS ARE INDICATIVE OF A WIDER INTEREST IN THE DECONSTRUCTION AND FRAGMENTATION OF IMAGES AND THE WAY THEY ARE PERCIEVED BY THE VIEWER, HIS DRAWINGS, ON A SMALLER SCALE, ALSO SHARE A FACINATION WITH THE MECHANICS OF MARK MAKING. AFTER VARIOUS JOBS HE BECAME A FULL-TIME ARTIST IN 2004. MARK HAS SOLD WORK BOTH NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS WELL AS PRIVATE COMMISSIONS. HE HAS EXHIBITED EXTENSIVELY IN NORTHAMPTON, RUGBY, OUNDLE. HIS MOST RECENT EXHIBITION BEING A SOLO SHOW AT THE ARTISTS SANCTUARY NORTHAMPTON IN 2007. HE IS CURRENTLY EXHIBITING IN LONDON DURING ART FRIEZE, AT THE CAMDEN ART GALLERY, BEGINNING ON THE 25TH OCTOBER 2008.
