BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO MY
RECENT PAINTINGS
During the period of training
my works were mostly the
reflectionof the city life,
the aspiration and dreams of
the urban middle class living
in a molt-cultural and
multi-lingual society. Those
days I crated the works like ‘
back to the city’, ‘nagorik’
etc., by mixed media.
To develop the concept I have
been traveling historical, and
culturally significant places
and try to conceptualize the
togetherness of living and
non-living objects and a sense
of mystery. Things and
particular colour encompassed
me, thus my creative mind and
feelings is blend. Through I
have social, ritual relation
with my surroundings, I would
like to search there hidden
relations of mine in my works.
It is known there a relation
among the living and non-
living beings in nature. I saw
a rhythm with the costume,
ornaments, happiness, sorrow
and habits of the rural
people, I is wonderful to me
when I inhale those things
then, I express my feelings of
love through my visual art
work. Some times ‘

I feel comfortable to express myself to this medium.From my boyhood I have been interested My interest grown more after got prizes in school competetions.I think I should use my feelings dream for beterment of myself to give them a realistic form gives me oxyzen of life ,cheerfulness. |

My professional objective is to think and work on visual art with my feelings,dreams and emotion
EDUCATION 1988 B.A. from Calcutta University
STUDY ART 1989 – 91 study art at Academy of Fine arts sketches club in kolkata
Basically self taught artist.
1991 –1999 practice art under the guidance of eminent artist of India
Mr. .Shyamal DuttaRoy and worked in his studio (Aug.’04 – Feb.’05)

EXPERIENCE 2008 to date art teacher in Jain Swatamber Terapanthi School, calcutta
2006 – 2008 art teacher in Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul International
School ,Hydrabad
2003 – 2005 vocational art teacher in Central School in kolkata
1992 till now working as free lance artist. Apart from this I look
after gallery of SCA-an oldest artists group in kolkata for one year ,did illustration in Mileage advt. Services ,commissioned work in Taj hotel ,trained students in activity school.
