Artist Statement for Satoshi Matsuyama

AWESOME TESTIMONY

"My greatest desire is to offer my whole heart, soul, mind and strength to honor and worship God and to be mightily used to declare his glory through my paintings." ----

ROMANS 1:20 "For his invisible [qualities] are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even His eternal power and Godship, so............"
Looking through all things in the world, the intention of the only Creator, Love is to be felt everywhere. So the existence and character of one God is to be known through His creatures. Although humans came to be able to change the colours and the forms freely by the tool called computer, I would like to utilize this technology in conformity to the wills and the intentions of the Creator. As long as I continue to do my work in this limit as well as I appreciate thanks, respects and admirations to the Creator, God, who made an excellent Star, the Earth, I will be able to do my present job for ever, and I will be able to be allotted energy for ever.

----No sounds digital but full digital----

I compose my image putting them together with 300 of photographs which was taken by myself with Hasselblad H2D camera, and painting many things there on my mac with Wacom tablet pens.
Each data on Photoshop CS2 is 30 to 60GB, when I'm working with them on my Mac driving controlled by SoftRaid 3.51 with 6 disks of ultra 320 SCSI array.
Printed more clear than the photography by 44 inches with Hewlett-Packard HP Designjet Z2100 44", the model developed for "Fine Art", on pure canvases.
My large formatted over 80 inches long printable .psb data (can not in tiff) is almost 5 to 7GB in 350 ppi resolution each works.
These images can not possibly be viewed on a computer screen.
It is imperative that these works be displayed on the walls of real galleries around the world, for all to see.
To truly understand the messages from our Creator these works must be viewed with the naked eye.
I think that If there is even an intention referred to as wanting to express,it will fulfill a Photoshop in the form which is in sight as a "Digital Fine Arts Prints" by HP Designjet Z2100 44".
That is a great gift for us living in today, no need to graduate art courage or education of photo technique. We can make the impossible dream possible by this great digital technology.
I think that the possibility of this wonderful technology is the right currently equally gifted to all the people in the world, every tribe and tongue and people and nation, for their peace and happiness.-------------------------Satoshi Matsuyama
