I started painting at a young age. The striking combination of colors was like flicking a switch. I decided to go to the art shop , bought a few tubes of paint and a paintbrush and started creating my own art!

Mildred Ann Utroska (Mauk) Born : Santurce ,PR July 22,1947 Abstract, Geometric Artwork full of movement and color ,Charcol and Color Pencil Drawing, Mirror, Crystal and Tile Mosaic, Restore furniture, Poetry writer, Amateur Photographer. I am a self-taught painter.
I live in one of the most beautiful island in the world: Puerto Ric
I was craving bright colours I could only find in paint. It seems that I was not the only one in this situation as the response to my work has been much more than I could have anticipated: so far, I have sold paintings since 2005 and receive many commissions from PR buyers and from overseas.
Sizes vary from small to huge for different customer.
Day by day work has taught me to look at life as a catalitic that inspires me to create strong graphical patterns from shapes and colours.
one thing that cannot be denied is my unique style. Hope you enjoy it!.
Participation: Lilly Oncology On Canvas 2006 contest Global London exhibition Royal Collage of Art 3-6 Nov 2006 and USA exhibition Metropolitan Pavillion in NY City Dic 5-8-2006 the exhibition will travel all over the world for two years. My Art entry 'Conquer Adversity' was included. Upstream People Gallery 8th Annual Abstraction Juried on line Art Exhibit . Entry: On The Cross, Blue Galaxy, Conqueror Of Adversity.
