| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Totally self-taught, since I was sixteen I always liked to paint what I see, in a continuous exchange with the beautiful landscapes of my native land, Tuscany, and, in general, with the beauty of nature. In the same way, I was always persuaded that it is right to carry on the tradition of Italian painting. When several years ago I started up working as a professional painter, I was thinking first to be able to preparing myself all I needed, like normally did the painters of ancient time (priming, oil colors, pastels, drawing charcoals and so on) because I think that to be a good painter means above all to have a good technique allowing to express any emotion. |

| Your Personal Biography |
I was born in Florence, in 1948. In 1972 I took a degree in History of Philosophy at the University of my native city and, after having been for a short time assistant lecturer at the Oriental Institute of the University of Naples, I quitted the academic career to follow my natural passion; so I began to work as a graphic designer, then as a professional photographer and, since 1986, painting is my exclusive work. |
