| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I have always loved art for as long as I can remember. Colors, textures and the beauty that surrounds us have all been my inspirations. For me art is a way to share my feelings and thoughts by putting it to canvas. I can't think of a better way to relax and to release the daily stress, it is sublime! |

| Your Personal Biography |
Hello my name is Madelyn Fox but all my friends call me Maddy and I am a self representing artist. I have been painting for close to 20 years. Painting is a form of self expression for me. My paintings are most often reflected by my emotions at the time. My art style varies from folk art to contemporary and abstract to outsider art. I use various mediums such as oils, acrylics, ink and on occassion pastels. I have had my works displayed at the Tacoma Art Museum in Tacoma Washington and until recently adding the internet for sales, my works were basically sold through local galleries. I love having the ability to create fine art and sharing it with others is exhilirating. Knowing a painting has been purchased to add to an art collection or hanging on the walls of others who can appreciate art, for me is the ultimate! I hope you derive pleasure from my gallery and that you will soon be added to my list of new friends.
