| Your Personal Biography |
Milva Pierotti was born in Tuscany, in the 16th century town of Fivizzano, where she is living and working in her studio. She obtained her diploma at the Art Lyceum in Carrara and later attended the Faculty of Architecture at Florence University.
From a very early age she devoted all her time to painting through continuous experimentation of new techniques, new colours and materials, integrated contributions of textile woofs and object trouvés.
Between conceptuality and visionariness in the last forty years she has turned out wide sets of works where one can appreciate the integration of the media, the depth of themes, the scenographic innate talent and the powerful personality of the tone range.
Her works have been present in many personal exhibitions in the main European and Italian Expo and have received increasing confirmation from art critics, the public and the media.
