i grew up in germany 1954-1974,lived in greece for a short period afterward. i traveled throughout europe during those years. still do. graduated from highschool at the international quakerschool in beverweerd, holland in 1970. studied the humanities and art at university of maryland and augusta state college. i was fettered by the u.s. military draft throughout my younger years -only to recover by age 26. i did not feel free to pusue art seriously until that age. (ethical problem). wanted to be an artist since age seven but had a serious wedge driven into my brain at age 7 when i heard i was going to get drafted into the military at age 18. it kind of dashed my plans if you know what i mean. |
