Toronto based costume jewellery designer Monika Peczeli is an artist of many trades.
Her artistic energy was expressed through graphics and painting, but soon fashion
became the vehicle for her visual creativity. In 2006, she launched her independent
label: Monikque Jewellery.
Bejewelled oases radiant with stars. Exotic patterns inspired by sparkling treasures...
delicate intricacies emboldened by nature's truest colours, with hints of the
ultra-flirtatious and feminine. Personally designed by the artist Monika Peczeli, the jewellery collection conveys a unique signature. Each piece is lovingly composed of
silk organza , crystal beads, mineral and Swarovski stones. Monikque has been seen
at various events including 2005 Dress to Kilt Fashion Event, 2006 Bell Celebrity Gala
Fashion Show, the 2006 Grand Prix Fashion Show as well as the 2007 Book Lover's Ball.
Monikque has also been featured in various press, such as Elle Girl Magazine, Hello and
Chatelaine to name a few. Her jewelry has also been featured on many national and international
red carpets, such as the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival.
Monika Peczeli continues to known for her intricately detailed gorgeous wearable art.
