Artist Statement:
PROFILE
Born in 1974, Montserrat Rubio
has an aesthetical intuition
for architecture and
urban/natural landscape, but
at the same time she is in
continuous seek of haunting
emotions through abstract and
conceptual images both in
black & white and color.
Brought up in Seville and
Barcelona, has traveled
several times to Italy and has
also spent many years in the
U.K where she widened her
interests in cinema and other
visual arts forms.
She currently lives in the
south east of England and
produces freelance work
between London and Barcelona.
