| Biggest Artistic Inspiration |
- The great change in my pictorial path took place in Venezuela in 1993 in the Caribbean; I discovered the tropical lights and colours, which allowed me to accomplish a major change in my style. I offer lyricism by acrylic colours, graded from warm to cool, as well as from light to dark, weaving the layers together to form the impressionistic signature of my paintings, this makes it possible for me to continue, ad infinitum, to the extent of my own universe.

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
Since I was graduated from the University, I worked as a diplomat more than 35 years, during this long time I have been worked in seven countries and visited more than sixty towns all over the world, I studied art in many countries and I discovered -may be late- that I am an artist by heart more than a diplomat. Working and visiting many countries enrich my culture and artist skills, so that I am a professional artist now |

| Your Personal Biography |
Al Hatter confesses that the great change of his pictorial background took place in Egypt and Venezuela. In the Caribbean he found himself immersed in the tropical light, which suggested an approximation and rediscovering of color. In Egypt he was touched by its great ancient civilizations. He explains, “Maybe the transformation in Egypt and Venezuela was due to the accumulation of remembrances of my travels to different countries all over the world that were finally settled and allowed the technical and stylistic turn of my painting. Moreover I began to capture those magical and mysterious moments of life, from the obvious that can be seen by my eyes, to the visionary that is perceived by my heart and soul.”
- The artist explains other factors which influenced him; above all, he recognizes that God is the Creator of the universe, and that the limited human beings cannot embrace the totality of creation. The abstraction allows the microcosm to represent the infinite. In order to produce it, he needs to isolate himself and create a special atmosphere that allows the concentration and the interpretation of his feelings.
-Al Hatter’s painting is far from traditional; notwithstanding, it links a contemporary artist expression with his attitude. The selection of an abstract art, of some lyricism and the use of a luminous intensity free his soul from earthly materials, towards a new horizon that he become sophist, and closed to the God, the creator of the universe.
