Artist Statement:
I see art as an expression of beauty. The esthetical aspects are essential in my artwork while conceptual meaning adds an important value to it. I am especially interested in colors, and knowing how to put them together in my work is one of my biggest talents. I would say I was born an artist and my passion and skills have grown with the time and dedication. In fact, I always remember my self drawing or painting, and others commenting on my talent.
There are two things that inspire me greatly and serve as themes of most of my artwork. The first is Physics; the laws of nature, the universe, repeating sequences, fractals and chaos. The second is traveling; different cultures and places I have seen and people I have met. In addition, I like to experience with different materials and colors. Sometimes I use color to express and create different emotions, and other times I use color to represent different frequencies of vibrations, energy.

| Your Personal Biography |
My name is Natalia Esteve Gómez, I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1983. I lived and studied in Bogotá until 1993, when I moved to Boca Raton, Florida, for one year. There, I studied in Verde Elementary School where one of my school art works was awarded and exhibited in the City Hall.
I moved back to Bogotá and studied in Gimnasio Fontana, a school that emphasizes on arts. In 1995 I moved to Barcelona and lived and studied there for one year. Then, I went back to Bogotá and finish school in Gimnasio Fontana, where one of my paintings was awarded and selected to be exhibited in several schools of Bogotá.
After graduating from high school, I enrolled in the Universidad de Los Andes, in Bogotá, where I took several art classes and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a minor in Philosophy in 2007. During that period I also took private art classes with Adriana Ceballos, a Colombian artist.
Currently I am dedicated to my art, self studying and experiencing with different styles and media.
