| Your Personal Biography |
My name is Nicholas Mario Fanzo. I was born in the borrow of the Bronx in New york city on December 18 1980. I moved upstate to Putnam county during elementary school. Ever since I could talk, I was drawing and creating images. I am a self taught artist, refusing to take art lessons while growing up. I strongly believe in the lessons one can teach themselves when coming across their own challenges.
At the age of 16, I dropped out of high school, earning my diploma at the age of 26 years old. Art is the biggest part of my life and mostly all my paintings come from my experiences. I am also obsessed with drawing and I usually fill up a sketch book once every 2 weeks or so. My main influences are Picasso, Francis Bacon, El Greco, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Degas, Manet, Carravagio, Michelangelo, Raphael, Delacroix, Lucien Freud, Sargent, De kooning and many many more.
