Creating a work of art is,
having traveled various roads
through experimentation until
reaching the culmination of an
organic art form.
Implementing
abstract-figurative elements
that emphasize textures and
non-conventional forms.
It is through experimentation
and the search of new
techniques that I imprint my
work with imagery that reminds
us of cave paintings. It is
my eternal refusal of
conventional ideas that brings
me to discover richer
alternatives that relate to
our present environment....

Born on October 09, 1964 in La Habana, Cuba.
He began his formal studies in art at an early age at the Biblioteca Nacional.
He continued his artistic formation at the prestigious San Alejandro Academy of Art in Havana where graduated in 1993, with a major in Painting and Engraving.
Curso Internacional de Grabado Casa de las America. (Pofesora Belkis Ayon)
He has garnered numerous intercollegiate and national awards including a First Prize in Artwork at the 1994 competition Arte Siete.
His works are in several private collections in the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe and Asia.
He was a teacher at the Centro Cultural Cinematografico Yara for Childrens.
He was a Member of the Fondo Cubano de Bienes Culturales.
He has worked in various backdrop projects. Also, he has worked in several graphical Illustrations for books.
The Artist lives and works in Miami, Florida, USA.
