Artist Statement for Viacheslav Nikolaev

|
Artist Statement:
Viachaslav(Slava) Nikolaev is the name.
- a member of the German Journalist Union, and a political cartoonist
- for 13 years main art
director for the publishing company "Russkaja Germanija"
(Russian Germany)
- in the past few years over 5000 of impressions,
caricatures and comics were published all over the world;
design of 15 postcards for the publishing company
"Joker" in Berlin
- thousands of other themes and caricatures are still being
offered for sale in several European countries
- working in art department for
Roman Polanski in his movie "The Pianist" and for Ishtvan
Szabo in the movie "Taking Sides" which was filmed at the
Babelsberg Movie Factory near Berlin;
but the biggest proudly cherished specialty is work at the set of Jean Jack Annound;s "Enemy At The Gate" (art work).
- lectured several classes at the branch office of "HTK - Hamburger
Technische Kunstschule" (Hamburgs Technical School of Arts) in Berlin.

My latest exhibition successfully ended in Jan. 2009 in
Berlin.
