The painter gives the welcome to the visitors of this site. Without some pretension or manias of greatness, humbly he is about to conduct you by hand in the meander of his dreams, of his thoughts, of his doubts and uncertainties on the cosmic world that englobes, winds, phagocytes. If at the end he will has aroused in you tickle mental, questions never asked before, wish to look for himself in the limits allowed by “small” human nature, but also “great” in its metaphysical space, he will has reached his pur pose.

Nino Scimeca was born in Bolognetta, village of the Palermo's province, (Sicily), July 20 th 1957. he studied at the scientific liceo,coming in contact with the architectural design. From the pencil, india ink , he approached to acrylic and after to oil. His world is oneiric, surreal, a constant "daydream", full of symbolisms and going to the knowledge of the man, of the thousand why of his existence, in cosmic sense, moral, intellectual. He expresses his painting in meditated way but suffered for his own intellectual tension, with lines and signs that look at the search of the subjective one "beautiful" aesthetical. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in San Martino delle Scale (Palermo)and ,after, in that one of Palermo's city |
