I have never ‘suffered for my art’…never made any lofty personal sacrifices for the sake of it…never considered my work an unselfish contribution offered for the good of humanity-
No attempts are made to present it in with any great profundity or depth-
These are simply the pictures I make-
I do not know if I will ever possess any level of creative distinction…
All I am certain of is this…I make these images out of some inexplicable need-
I believe I would be less than I am were I unable to do this-
'No one has ever been Able to Define or Synthesize that Precarious, Splendid, and perhaps Untidy Instant when the Creative Process Begins This is what the Uniqueness of the Artist is all about.
