Artist Statement:
I received a B.F.A. from the
Pacific Northwest College of
Art. I majored in Illustration
with a strong background in
painting.
My mediums of choice are oils,
watercolor, and colored
pencils.
I know that my Lord and savior
blessed me with the ability to
draw and paint. That is the
talent God allowed me to share
with the world. It's a
miraculous talent to be able
to create what you see with a
paint brush or a pencil. My
style is realism. I love
shapes, shadows, and space.
I've always wanted my images
to connect to people, to give
them a piece of my blessing.
The best thing is I can share
them on mugs, T-shirts,
magazines, coloring books,or
paintings etc... it's
limitless. I do hope the
appreciation of artist's will
continue to be as time goes
on....

Biggest Artistic Inspiration Seeing something which moves me to create an image from. It could be a number of things. A beautiful sunny day to shopping. What ever gives me an idea is what inspires me. Amazing people who make it at what they love to do as a creative people like; Mary Engelbreit, or Jerry Pinkney and his family.

Why Did You Become An Artist I became an artist because there was a love and fascination as I was growing up of how did they do that? I started drawing my toys as a girl and taking every art class possible from elementary to college. My favorite artist was MichaelAngelo. Of course his work of art that moved me most was his painting of God giving life to Adam in the Sistine Chapel.
