BIOGRAPHY
Francisco Vidal grew up in Barranquilla , Colombia. Afther attending School of fine Art in 'BELLAS ARTES' for Three years,and work in his home-studio in Barranquilla in 1969 hi left for the firs time to New York City.
In 1984 he was honor with a grant from Jerome Foundation in New York City to study Lithography in the Black Bourng workshopPrint in New york.
Also in 1984 a scholarship for a Studio in P.S.1, National and international Studio Program in 1984 through 1986 that was for two yeasr. in P>S>1> , Long Island City,N.Y.
In 1992 a Grant from The Foundation Mid-Atlantic Art Foundation National endowment for the Arts regional Scholarship,Baltimore,maryland.
Hi exhibit his paintings in galleries, Museum in New york and another city's in U>S>A.
Also Exhibit in Monterrey,Mexico,Spain,Italy,Colombia,Argentina,Puerto rico ,santo domingo.
His works encompasses the Figure,landscape,still life,couple,portraiture,musician and through my expressiot-figurative style with colorful and elegant some time
