Artist Statement:
Life is a constant fascination, and I find myself having to change this statement fairly often because of life's endless changes. Recently while reading a very uplifting book called "A New Earth" by Eckhart Tolle, I had an AHA moment in which I realized I'd always been allowing Spirit to work through me without actually realizing that's what I've been doing.
No matter what size piece or what medium I'm working in, my focus stays very microcosmic, staying only in the small area I'm actually working in. The end result of that is that I remain peaceful and extremely focused to the point where time disappears and I can discover I've worked way beyond my own physical limitations because of my extreme focus on what I'm doing. Sometimes I'm totally amazed at what I've accomplished, having a feeling it wasn't "me" who did that, but rather Spirit. I feel so blessed to realize this is what I already do. How I'd love to be able to translate that into the rest of my life as well.
I hope you truly enjoy your visit here today. Bringing joy to...

Seems I was born to be an artist. Have never really wanted to be anything else. |

| Your Personal Biography |
My work has been shown at the Rogue Gallery in Medford and my own "Faces of Ashland" portrait show in Ashland. My current artistic focus centers on pencil portraits from people's photos and watercolor paintings of natural subjects ~ flowers, animals and landscapes. Living in Oregon has given me many inspirations. My love of nature exudes from my photo-realistic renderings in pencil, oil, and watercolor. Time disappears when I'm painting or drawing, and it feels like Spirit does the actual work. Enjoy! |
