Artist Statement:
I am a French artist involved
in painting, drawing, computer
graphics 2d and 3d.
I like the idea of being in
the traditional painting
(portraits, surrealism and
fantasy) and also in the
computer processed images (web
design, sleeve design,
illustrations).
The computer is for me a
prolongation of what I was
doing in the traditional way.
I am painting since the age of
twenty and have run a
serigraphic art workshop in
Toulon.
I used to teach Beaux Arts and
airbrush technique and worked
as an illustrator in N.Y.C.
I am now always painting
fantasy and commissioned
portraits but I am also a lot
in computer art images and
animations in three
dimensions.

I have been inspired when i was a teenager by fantasy books of Lovecraft, Edgar allan Poe, Jean Ray, Serge Brussolo, Philip K Dick, Michael Moorcock and a lot of fantasy writers..
I was attracted by Gustave Doré, Ernst Fuchs,Albert Durer, Giger and the preraphaelite school. |
