| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I have always been an artist in my mind from when I was little. My father encouraged that in me. It wasn't until later that I realized that I had much learn so I could actually be an artist, so the journey began and continues. As I entered my forties, I could that I was coming into my own - finding my voice, my passion, my message. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a BFA in 1984. I continued on to become certified to teach art, starting immediately in the Allentown School District. I taught middle school art for 18 years and for the last 5 years have been teaching at Dieruff High School. As much as I am passionate about making art, I am equally passionate about teaching students/ teaching art. Each passion inspires the other. |
