Artist Statement for Pamela Weisberg
|
|
|
Using various fine art painting mediums, I strive to express the essence of humans and nature as I see them. I work both on locations and in the studio using oils and watercolors. My work is influenced by the American Impressionists, the early California Painters and numerous illustrators. The subject matter of my paintings ranges from impressionist landscapes and wildlife, unique stilllifes, and expressive portraits which are painted with a painterly and glazing method reminiscent of the old masters' style. I have exhibited in numerous galleries and art shows. I also teach art classes at various local sites.
