I love works that challenges ones immagination.i am only moved by works, that give your heart a kick,and tell you, that this artist has spent time positively to create this Masterpiece.Such, is the feeling i get, when i look at the works of Micheal Angello,Fernando Botero,and a host of others.For me, Art should be deeper than the ordinary,because the Human mind,has limitless depth.Man is greater, than who he thinks he is. |

| Why Did You Become An Artist |
I see nothing else i would have done outside being a Fine Artist.Although, i am gifted in other fields of Art, like acting on stage,drumming to mention a few,i strongly feel, that i will die of boredom, if i do not bring to life, the treasures, hiding in my finger tips.Art is Life,art is everything.HOW LOVELY, IT IS, TO HAVE EVERYTHING. |

| Your Personal Biography |
Akinwumi Peter was born in Lagos,to a Nigerian Father and Ghanaian Mother.He got his elementary trainning from his Mother, who was trainned by her elder brother,Prof. Azzi Akator,one of Ghana's early Art Legends.Peter worked with some Galleries Like the famous Felix Idubor Art Gallery(Benin),Fred Achibong(Lagos)Songhai heritage(Lagos),to mention a few.In 1990,he enrolled for B.A. Degree programme in Fine Art at the University of Benin, and graduated with distinction. Akinwumi modified an old art form known either as Beaten Metal or Reprosse .This, he calls Dot Beaten Metal because he beat in dots, to emboss his metal plate.He is also in the fore front, in the promotion of computer/digital art in Nigeria.His works, can be found at home and abroad. |
