Artist Statement:
when taking a photograph, for whatever ends, I visualise how the finished picture shall look in texture, feeling and quality. All of the works shown on this gallery site are photographic in origin. There are no applications of digital illustration and computer graphics in any composition. All are archival prints: Hahnemuhle 100% rag paper using Vivera pigmented inks.
Prints can be sent in museum quality mounts/mats if requested. This latest process producing truly archival: 120-200years, full colour prints of the highest quality.
I have always tried to convey to the viewer my feeling and passion for image making utilising the latest techniques available in photography. For myself, quality of finish and presentation justifies the time and dedication involved in this work.

| Your Personal Biography |
I studied Design Technology at Leicester/DeMontfort University and went on to design/illustration for a small print company. I then joined Kodak. I learnt a lot about, and from, the industry. All the time I was taking and printing my own work.
Over the years I have met and dealt with very many interesting characters from all over.
My portfolio has been very varied in the last few years including; photo illustration for a poetry book – USA; glossy cover for fashion magazine – USA; billboard advertising for kitchen manufacturer – UK.
Last year I was awarded a Licentiateship from the Royal Photographic Society (LRPS).
I also create print design compositions. I have my own printer to make archival prints. I have shown these works at an art festival and galleries in the last year.
Have recently joined the Creative Hinckley consortium. This may lead to new, interesting and creative opportunities.
