Artist Statement:
Michael Prax examines and uses optical color effects to produce deep color spaces capable of triggering in the viewer historically grounded, color-related psychological experiences. Order and chaos. both sides of a new, integrated world view, are a given in Michael Prax`s work. They are pieces of a unified picture. Indeed, in his best work, the artist`s extends beyond this, and reveals a human whole composed of reason, imagination and sensuality....
