Young self-taught artist, Lionel Le Jeune has joint a remarkable ability of pictorial technical.
Expressing in an original language, with also the studies of art history; not at all insensible to the lessons of the Masters, particularly the Italians Primitives.
Using ex professo the pictorial traditional genres, Le Jeune hit us! among other things, with his style and the harmonious mixing of his colours.
Like the shadows which walk in the urban scenes, the elements of his still-lives as many immovable characters stiffening in the middle of an action, like a family portrait, with an amazing result : the still-lives appear us like life scenes, Strong of a sensibility and a look which permit to him to catch some instants sometimes ordinary rending them unique, Le Jeune, with his works doesn't let the spectator insensible : his Life scenes touch us, disturb us, capture us with their perceptible sadness backwind, which not born from characters isolation but from their loneliness.
The action not remains temporal and to the questions concerning the leading characters of his canvas 'Where do they come from? Where are they going once go out of the scene? «An answer imposes us: « Nowhere without doubt '. The action last a look time, she was neither place in the past.. Nor in the present... neither less in the future, but in the imaginary world he creates.
