In 1986 my work was published in the Shropshire magazine. Dipicting illustrations of various species of bats for the Shropshire Bat Project. The review highlighted the myths that surround bats, and complimented the work accomplished by the project.
In 1996 after witnessing an armed robbery and giving a police interview. I was asked for a description of the offender, I produced a drawing from memory. This made headline news in the local paper, including the illustration.
The offender was recognised and advised to give himself up. I appeared on local TV news coverage giving an interview about the incident. From this the BBC approached me to work as a Court Artist making use of my photographic memory. In conclusion the offender was convicted for 7 years for armed robbery.
My work has been featured in the Sunday Mercury newspaper reporting on my work as a Court Artist.
I have also been on 2 radio stations giving accounts of my work and what it entails. To my knowledge there are only 4 other Court Artists in the UK.
