Why Did You Become An Artist I was inspired by my art teacher who encouraged me to explore my talents and take it to a higher level.

Your Personal Biography Ramnik grew up in a scenic town Jinja, in Uganda, on the bank of white Nile and Lake Victoria. Nature, people and native cultures were his true inspiration. Early in his career he was mentored by a very accomplished artist Mr. Joshi. Through his guidance he developed a unique style for water colors and charcoal renderings including land scapes, sea scapes, still life, figuratives, abstracts etc., to name a few. Ram has visited galleries all over the world and studied works by great masters. Ram's artwork is aquired and displayed by university library, company executives and private collectors. Ram is often commisioned to do charcoal family potraits.
