Artist Statement:
Originally impulsed by the instinct, my work is occasionally filtered by the reason.
Art is free. No compromises. No prejudices.
My work is created thru diverse technics: oil, watercolor, drawing and digital art. Of reduced and medium format, this pieces can be bounded by the topic of 'Conscience'. And inside of it, is the series called 'Insecta'.
The topic, conductive thread of the whole work, is the emotions, of any human, as a result of an arbitrary sampling. They are extremely contradictory.
But, product of this contradiction, the main message is that if is the existence of the conscience the factor that separates us favorably of the other animals, it is this same concept of the free will that drives us to the madness, the incontinent depredation, the war and the extermination of the unknown....
