| Your Personal Biography |
Rob Goldman is an internationally published photographer whose fine art, advertising and portraiture work has been celebrated both in gallery exhibition and in national magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Time, Brides and Mademoiselle. He is best known for The Intimate Portrait, which he defines as “work that is connected; that goes beyond the physical nature of the sitter, offering a bold interpretation of their essential spirit.” Examples of Goldman's work can be found in both private and corporate collections including the prestigious Polaroid Collection in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Goldman has developed a variety of personal development programs for people who are ready to express their passion and their creativity in both their lives and their work. His workshops and seminars have been offered internationally and have been designed specifically for the art, yoga, teaching and business communities. Rob’s teaching concentrates on the human being—the artist, as a whole—both encouraging and challenging him/her in a variety of rich, holistic and supportive environments.
Goldman’s landmark program, Creativity Yoga®, incorporates specific aspects of yoga into a unique system, releasing and focusing creative energy on all levels. He conducts private workshops internationally, and one-on-one coaching and consultations, as well as teaching college at the post-graduate level. Rob is currently pursuing his MFA in interdisciplinary art and serves on the advisory board of Suffolk County Community College’s Photographic Imaging Program.
Goldman’s pictures have appeared in ads for Nikon, Club Med, Seagrams, AT&T, Microsoft and Marriott to name a few. His stock photos are represented by Getty Images and Corbis. Rob is also founder of the Stepping Stone Gallery for Contemporary Photography in Huntington, New York and co-founder of Art That Matters, an artists’ cooperative in Oyster Bay, New York. In addition, he has enjoyed the sponsorship of The Panasonic Corporation, who awarded his renowned Shooting from the Heart® intensive workshop in Tuscany, Italy as Grand Prize for their Digital Photography contest.
