"Robinson's realistic style depicts the emotions that his subjects portray, and his artwork emphasizes the pain, sadness or joy that is exhibited on their faces so clearly. The gentle touch that he uses on the watercolor paper with his pastels gives the drawings and paintings a whispery touch without sharp edges, which enhances the moodiness of each piece.
