Artist Reviews:
An intense and rude mark, a violently shatterd charcoal on soft shapes.
What else is more soft, is more exciting of a female nude that uncoils and clings in front of our eyes?
You can almost feel the smell of these skins, of these bodies, coverd only of colours. Smell ...

Roberto Testori
He was born in 1964 in Milan from a family where the contact with the arts, from music to design, from poetry to dance, from painting to photography, it is present in many members of the relationship both maternal and paternal.
He has always practiced since he was very young the design at an elementary level and in the years '80 it was gotten passionate to photography putting in evidence for the first time his artistic dowries. In various moments he collaborates for passion but actively with some advertising photographer in London, with photographers like for example Michael Joseph.
During his foreign stays to the United States, Germany and Switzerland knows groups of artists who approach him also to the design of the human figure.
Re-entered in Italy in 1991 he holds his first exhibition exposing one sport series of photographs to the palace of the Stelline in Milan in occasion of one convention of the WKA (World Kikboxing Association).
In 1992 he knows Massimo Geloso Peralta, master of art from Milan, also him oriented to the human figure, and who accompanies him to the discovery of the actual systems of applied art representing with the sign and the painting the expression of his own emotions on figurative subjects.
In 1995 he meets, always in Milan, Enrico Lui, poet, painter, scenograph, performer and great speaker, who in parallel, but also in antagonism with Massimo Geloso, carries out a similar subject, but more centralized on the sexiness and the eroticism. Roberto, also continuing the study with Massimo Geloso, enters to take part with assiduousness in the work group of Enrico Lui atelier, "L’Osservatorio Figurale", where he remains until 1997 when he is moved newly to the foreign country in Switzerland.
He loses therefore the contacts with Enrico but he maintains those with Massimo Geloso in the short returns to Italy. He comes back definitively to Milan in the half of 1999 and returned to the atelier of Enrico he discovers his premature passing, happened in August of 1998.
The activity of the Osservatorio Figurale, after the death of Enrico Lui, is remained however still alive thanks to the artists friends, like Gianni Chiarotti, Amina Barosi, Annalisa Guarino, Mauro Loprieno, Irene Grudinsky and Enzio Wenk.
Roberto returns therefore to make part of the group of the friends of Enrico Lui strongly contributing to the continuation and the development in diffusing the speech of the representation in erotic key of the Nude, primary activity of " L’Osservatorio Figurale ".
Since 2001 today therefore he has developed plans being involved all the frequent visitors of the Osservatorio Figurale, as an example the more important "La Magliacalza" in the 2002 and "Jacquarta" in 2003.
At the end of 2003 the Columbian master Rafael Dussan reaches the Osservatorio Figurale, and with him it is born a relationship of collaboration and artistic increase because in line with the job of Roberto.
In summer 2005 he meets the artist Sabrina Ravanelli, they already knew each other in the artistical Milanese environment, and with her starts a new multimedia project (four hands painting, video e photography) named “OUTDOOR riflessi milanesi”.
In September 2006 leaves the leading of the meetings at the Osservatorio Figurale to fully dedicate himself to develop his individual work.
At the end of the same year, during a travel in Argentina, he knows the cultural operator Lucrezia de Domizio Durini and the art critic Daniele Crippa; with them different collaboration begin, both in Italy and Argentina.
Another important acknowledgement happens for the Cow Parade in Milan 2007 where his project had been chosen by the Danish company Bang & Olufsen. In the following years some other works will be made by Roberto for this company.
